Yinka Oyekan
Yinka Oyekan is the senior minister of The Gate, a multi-site church in Reading.
He came to faith in a Baptist Church in Edinburgh and harbors a deep passion for evangelism and church planting. Yinka also serves as the Team Leader for the Barnabas Fellowship of Churches, a network dedicated to the vision of ‘Building Kingdom churches and fostering Kingdom relationships’.
The Barnabas network boasts churches in the UK, France, and Africa. With over 30 years of experience, Yinka has been instrumental in church planting across these countries and has authored several books and manuals on the topic. He had the honor of serving as the President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain from 2020-2021. The Gate church has been blessed with two significant outpourings of the Holy Spirit, one of which catalyzed national evangelistic campaigns in multiple countries. Yinka Oyekan's vast experience in evangelism and church planting speaks for itself.
